On the 11th of June, the Innovation Cluster for Furniture Manufacturers in the Region of Murcia (AMUEBLA) held a workshop in Yecla, Spain, as part of the ALLVIEW project. The workshop, entitled “Implementing CSR Practices for Long-term Success”, aimed to introduce local furniture companies to the benefits and processes of adopting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies. This initiative is in line with the broader objectives of the ALLVIEW project, which is supported by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme.
The workshop aimed to present the concept of CSR and its importance for companies, outline the coaching sessions planned in the ALLVIEW project, engage participants in discussions on how CSR can enhance innovation and competitiveness, and assess the interest of companies in pursuing CSR strategies with the support of AMUEBLA. A total of 14 professionals representing different companies in the furniture and wood sector, including upholstery, mattresses, raw material suppliers, geriatrics, hospital furniture designers and marketers took part on it.
As a second stage, AMUEBLA will select those companies interested in coaching sessions to help them develop and implement their CSR strategies based on the results of a survey. These personalised sessions will ensure that the unique needs of each company are addressed, promoting sustainable practices and long-term success through 25 hours coaching programme.
The launch workshop was an important step in promoting CSR practices in the furniture and wood sector in Murcia. By equipping companies with the knowledge and resources needed to adopt sustainable practices, AMUEBLA and the ALLVIEW project are paving the way for a more responsible and innovative industry.
